So Beyarmamo isn't official this year, but I don't care. Beyblade forever! I'll submit one per week.

I swear I am drawing for BeyArMaMo! I just have to scan them... and edit them a bit.
UGH! I'm just so busy and halloween this year is pretty big! Parties, dressing up for work, drinking with friends...
And then I'm trying to get some work done for my portfolio to get into a 3D program for next year.
AND I have cosplay to keep working on for a con in january, one in mai, another in july, and then august. I've also planned to have a photoshoot for the holidays.
AND I want to make my webcomic happen, but I've barely touched it for months again.

Honestly anyone can go on about the holidays being a rush and it will be, but let me just say this... POKEMON AROS.

Also, deviantart seems to be doing some changes... how about working on the icons a bit. They're still very pixelated and tiny.

All my love to those who still follow me. Thanks for reading. And I will be back with some beyblade fanart real soon!

I have recently acquired a full time job at a second-hand/thrift store and it's REALLY taken a whole lot of time out of my life. I am looking into getting into 3D education to work in the film industries, but I will have to wait another year. I now have a better idea of what I want to do as a career and that's exactly what I needed. Preparations need to be made.
I also have neglected deviantart for tumblr. I have become a major trekkie and so when I get home, I just spend all my time there, trying to keep up with all the feed.
Drawing, I do draw regularly, but it's now getting into warmer weather and closer to convention time so I'm either reading a book on the balcony or making cosplay...
This years' Otakuthon will have me and a large group of eeveelutions on the friday, CLAMP's Clover characters (Sue and Oruha) on the Saturday and Elsa with Jack Frost on Sunday.
Comic-con will have me going solo again. I will be Catwoman again, I'm working on my female mirror Spock and depending what happens, probably just regular female Spock. The Next Generation cast will be there so I can't say when I will be what.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Have a wonderful day!

Moving forward

2 min read
I've been more active on tumblr than anything else lately so I think a few links are in order.
My Star Trek tumblr: st-r-trk-fangasm.tumblr.com/
My name-brand tumblr: noble-illustrations.tumblr.com…

I'm currently setting up projects for myself.

Destined Partners is an ongoing thing I want to work on. I want to make a webcomic with it. My character are just about set, the story has a few kinks that need mending, and the environment is developing. I'm still uncertain about a few things like panel styling and the over-all look I want. I'm looking to others for inspiration right now.

Professionally, I'm researching what jobs are available and what I can develop in my portfolio to apply. It's a long process and I'm sure most people know; the hardest part is getting the job.

On a cooler note; I'm moving in with Pips in January. It's going to be tough having to pay rent for the first time, but I need to be in town where I can access my career path. I also look forward to having my own space.

Christmas season coming in again. We'll see if I feel like doing some crafts.

To those who still watch me, thank-you so much for your patience.
As you may have observed, I've fallen in love with Star Trek this summer and I hold it as high as my love for KaiTaka.
My last journal was at Christmas time. I briefly say that I have since continued working a job I want to quit everytime I think about what I could be doing instead. Despite that, I have been writing, drawing, crafting, sewing, etc. I proudly made a Strawberry Panic Cosplay with aia-san for Otakuthon, and also made a fem!Spock cosplay with Kirk Plushie on my own for comic-con. (Aia-san sewed in the hidden zipper.) Best investment of the year has to be the sewing machine.
I have otherwise been  plotting to make Destined Partners a webcomic. For those who know of this series I had written as femKai and femTakao fanfiction, I have completely stopped writing it because I'm re-writing it to make it mine and something I will be proud to share more publicly.
I will be participating in BeyArMaMo like every year so watch out for Beyblade SPAM coming from me this october.
Games!!! A new Batman game for me to play, as well as the new Pokemon game coming out is going to leave me broke and lazy as all hell.

Otakuthon review: Lovely idea for the bag, schedule and booklet this year! As well as having the schedule out on scrolls for everyone to see instead of searching my bag all the time. The App was also a nice idea. Not that I ahve a smart phone, but cool all the same.
My two cosplay partners and I made our costumes at the last minute, but we managed. We got to Palais des Conrges(Otakuthon) at about 5 after taking public transit for 2-3 hours. We're taking a taxi next time! Way too long getting there with all our baggage. We waited an hour in line and missed the opening ceremony. One of my friends just had all the rotten luck, but finally made it later as well. We attended a cosplay make-up panel, as well as a photography panel before turning in and attending to last minute details on our costumes that night.
Saturday was awesome. Our costumes we worked so hard on were finally on! They rocked! I'm very proud. :)
Have a look at them on aia-san's gallery: aia-san.deviantart.com/gallery…
We attended the Legend of Korra panel, took plenty of photos, shopped, ate Sumo Ramen, met with friends, I went to my Star Trek Slash panel <3, and finally went to see TeaHouse panel.
Sunday I went as Catwoman since we had issues with our cosplay by the end of Saturday. We attended the Q&A for Nadia and Riddle. We got some good tips for our next cosplay.>:) Other than that, more picture taking and shopping. Cons go by so fast. >:(

Comic-con review: I'm not usually one for this kind of con. It is similar of course, people in costumes, various panels and stuff to buy, but not quite the same mentality. I'm a big fan of Batman and now Star Trek so I decided to go for it, but the age variation is much more vast the Otakuthon, there were a ton more people, and while still a very nice bunch of people, I didn't openly receive hugs or see people running around excitedly. There was a certain maturity I thought was strange for a con. Anyways, it was very strict upon going in. A major difference between the cons is that you can only go in after a certain time and you had to line up ahead of time for everything.
I attended Saturday as Catwoman and probably got the most done that day. I went to this con solo and met very nice people all the way through. I was supposed to help Jack of All Trade sell shirts by giving out cards, but shit happened on their part so whatever. I was told to participate in the mascerade, but they were booked already and I was fine with that, but what sucked is I missed the actual mascarade because I didn't want to wait in line for an hour. Got some great photos, had a photoshoot, attended the 50 years of X-Men panel, the Arkham Origins panel, the creating and marketing your own comic panel, and had a photoshoot with Peter Parker (www.facebook.com/NicolasNaredo…). Of course I dropped by to see Vic Mignogna where I discovered that he and a group of people had created Star Trek continues. So I checked it out. It's fucking perfect! Okay the characters are a bit off in appearance, but that's normal. I honestly say that Bones just wasn't grumpy enough. XD
Sunday, I went back to see him and he was thrilled to see my Fem!Spock cosplay with my Kirk doll. I chatted away and asked him to sign my doll's belly. Edward's voice ecstatically saying "Of course I'll sign his belly!" is forever engraved in my mind. You fricken cutie Vic! I went to the Queer super heroes panel and learned quite a bit as I french braided a girl's hair. She had very pretty hair and I can only imagine what fem!Spock looked like attending this girl's hair. XD I went to Storytelling and design for games, but it was boring, especially since I'm not a gamer and knew none of the games they were talking about. So I got lunch(salad for the Vulcan), then got my ticket to take a picture with George Takei. After taking that pic, I wondered about the art tables (And got my Tribble) and missed his Q&A panel so I went in a little late to Vic's panel. lol He waved at me so everyone turned to see whom had entered. XD haha. After the panel, everyone was lining up to see him one last time before he left. I'd seen him twice plus this panel so I was just gonna walk out when suddenly- "Hey Vulcan! You leaving?!" Oh gawd! So I bashfully cut in front of 50 people and got some Vic lovin. Of course I had to show him my tribble XD xoxo
I was about to head out when I met friends from school who were only attending that day and happened to be there when I walked out. We had dinner together, but I couldn't stay any longer. I was dead tired.

Now that convention season is over, I had wanted to work a halloween store again, but with all the hours I'm working at my current job, it's near impossible and no temporary stores have opened up in the area. Strange, but less tempting I suppose. However I'm discovering a craving to wear costumes frequently. My halloween costume is already planned out and it's probably only going to be worn at my job, where I hope it wills scare the shit out of everyone who comes in. It's not supposed to cost me more that 40-60 dollars and probably a good 10 hours of sewing/crafting. I'm going to need at least an hour to apply the make-up on that day though. Maybe I'll submit my concept later.

How have you guys been doing? Is there something you'd like to see me do?
